| Sketchbooks are tested to the limit how much weight, material and colours the pages can contain before’ exploding ‘ or falling apart. Each book take on average a year to complete as the material is mostly found and collected from rubbish, receipts, old envelopes and packaging. The ‘exploding books’ are a way to contain our visual overload – i.e. visa pollution – and transforming it. |
